I noticed that using the DVD Music Assistant app's saved files with MyDVD causes problems with the project. Can anyone else out there try out these steps and determine if this is just me or a real problem with the app?
1. Start the Roxio "Home" app.
2. From the Audio menu, choose Quick Music DVD.
3. Use the DVD Music Assistant to import a couple of CDs into the project.
4. Step through the assistant until step 3, choose to save instead of burn.
5. Close the DVD Music Assistant.
6. Navigate to your saved project, and double-click it. This should open MyDVD to continue editing the project.
I noticed that the project size graph only shows the correct size of the project when the file is first opened. After that, edits to the project trigger the graph to show zero. Initially I didn't care about this, as I wasn't close to filling the project's disc so I would just periodically save and reload the project for a reading of the project size. After accidentally going over the maximum size for the disc, I found that I was not able to remove items from the project; or rather they would appear to be deleted but would still be there upon a refresh or reload.
Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? TIA,
