I have EMC 9 and a boatload of tivo files that I want to burn to DVD.
I can open and edit the files without too much problem (though a little sluggish) but once I go to output the edited files to mpeg-2 (or any other format), VideoWave freezes, and I have to kill the process. No amount of time even starts the output.
I used the video converter to convert one of the files to mpeg-2, and once that was done, I edited the video with VideoWave, and output the edited file to mpeg-2 without problems.
Is there any way to not have to convert all the tivo files to mpeg-2 before I can edit them?
The initial conversion takes a while to begin with, and it seems counter-intuitive to have to convert before editing.
