Serial Numbers Don't Work

I have been having ongoing issues using the software. New glitches seem to appear. Last night I decided to do a clean re-install.

 

Now, I have even more problems. EMC 9 will not re-install. I am told that my serial number is not valid. The serial number is correctly typed and entered. There is no confusion over "0's"or "O'" or "1's" or "l's."

 

Roxio has issued me three serial numbers. When I downloaded the software on January 6th a serial number was included on the invoice. Two days later I got an e-mail that there might be a problem with the serial number and they issued a new number. Last night I discovered a third serial number listed on the website in My Account. None of them work.

 

I try to contact Roxio Customer service without success.

 

Any similar problems.

Probably on the lines of the program can't install if the date/time is earlier on the computer than the date/time stamp on the installation

 

I've seen that happen quite a bit over the years with different programs - if the date/time is totally messed up (due to a failing CMOS battery) strange and peculiar things start to happen
