Disc Copier can't Select images or folder

I used to be able to burn discs fine until a couple days ago. I tried to burn a DVD image folder and I selected in, then clicked ok and it hung with ok selected for a few seconds and then deselected it and allowed me to browse again. No matter how many times I click ok it just keeps doing that, not allowing me to select either a DVD image folder or a ISO. If I rightclick an ISO and tell it to burn with Disc Copier it opens and just shows the browse for disc image option with no ISO selected. I've uninstalled and re-installed several times with no luck.

I have both IE7 and WMP11 but I installed those a long time ago. No spyware detected.

Remove both and check again - IE7 and WMP11 are getting quite a reputation for trashing other software (not to mention the increased level of DRM with WMP11)

The last thing I installed other than Civ4 expansion was drivers for my X-Fi, that was a while ago though but I can't remember when the last time I burnt something was. Don't know about MS updates, I'm running x64 and there aren't too many for it.

Check that you haven't installed IE7 and/or WMP11 - there are reports of problems with those in EMC 9 (and they definitely wreck earlier versions)

 

Also - if you can, run a spyware check just in case
