I can transfer movie from my camcoder into computer using Roxio 7 just fine. but when i try to burn on to dvd-r i get message

 

Error ecoding title 1 of 1 transcoding phase

 

error code 0x80045104 111

 

I read other post and it tells you to remove IE7. but i think i have IE 6. on the IE i went to help and about it says version 6.

 

so since i already have IE6 why is this not working. i was having same issue with ROxio 6

I have sony Xp home with pioneer dvd-R, 8x

not sure about video card but it the one that came with pc i have not changed anything.

i will have to check

What Walt is asking is your computer specs similar to what appears in our signatures

 

To check on your video card - right click anywhere on the desktop, go to properties and it will tell you there

Before making any suggestions, could you please list your systems specs, especially video card and burner.

You can also try burning to an iso image file first and then use DiscCopier to burn the iso file to the DVD. Many posters have found that they have better luck since this process divides the enconding and burning into two separate stages.
