gi7omy
You need to connect the cassette player to the line in jack at the back of the computer first Then you should be able to open Audio Central and capture the tracks

KAZ
Hi there just want to know would my computer have line in at the back? Do most of the computers haver this? As i want to tempt to do this.
gi7omy
Most do - there are usually three jack sockets (at least) on the back - one for speakers, one for microphone and the third is normally line in (there may be a fourth 'line out' but that's not too common on an onboard sound system) If you have it, go to the volume control on the task bar, select properties and make sure 'stereo mix' is selected on recording properties and not muted

lynn98109
and blue is line in, and black is line out - I just happened across that info in the last couple days, and it explained what the black was on the cards I've been pulling from old computers ...
