Please give us more information. For PC, Roxio's player is called CinePlayer or as part of the V9 suite, it is part of the Digital Experience. I even googled for it but couldn't find anything. More information please if you want a response. I think I found it. Is it part of Toast? MAC computers? You post was originally in EMC 9 trail which is a PC product. You might want to post this in the Toast section.

I have (or at least had) a copy form a basic 6 or 5 version around someplace. Is a rebadged early version of powerdvd. Plus the fact that the "XP DVD player" (not even sure what you mean by that) won;t work, you have other issues also. Start by giving us some details. System information, version info for the "roxio player" and the "XP player" and any other Roxio/Sonic products you have.
gi7omy
Well rebadged Larry to the extent that they changed the PowerDVD red background to blue and left everything else as-was

I am desparate to get the install files for the Roxio DVDMax 2.0 player from the Pextor OEM disc. If you have, could I get that folder from the CD from you somehow? It is the only player that plays consistantly well on my HP

gi7omy
As pointed out earlier (a LOT earlier ) the program was just a rebadged PowerDVD. You would be a lot better trying to obtain a copy of that than the Roxio version A free download of an older version (PowerDVD 7) is available here

Just couldn't put together that PowerDVD was the engine (blows away everything else) running Plextor's OEM Roxio player, so all my searches for "DVD MAX" were dead ends. BTW, there's never any such a thing as a dead thread guggi
