gi7omy
I know most of us aren't green enough to fall for this, but for anyone who doesn't know, I'm posting something I've just receivedL "...Rogue Remover (RogueRemover) by MalwareBytes.org - AVOID THIS VIRUS PROGRAM. THIS SITE IS PART OF A SEXUAL AND ADULT WEBSITE CHAIN HOSTED BY 'HostingGatesSEX.COM ' SEE WHOIS INFORMATION BELOW. This program is a virus as it deletes PC security programs on a user's PC under false and made-up claims such as this anti virus program was found to be rogue and should be removed. The user then gets conned into thinking that the purchased or free anti virus tool they are running is bad or malicious or rogue, and uses the rogue remover to remove their legitimate anti virus program. This Makes RogueRemover from MalwareBytes.org gain the ability to get rid of most (currently more than 300+ antispyware, anti-adware, anti-virus, anti-trojan, and other security legitimate programs) from the user's machine making their machine vulnerable to the installations of adware, spyware, key loggers, trojans, worms, viruses and other internet born threats. Rogue Remover from MalwareBytes.org is also made by the creators of known hacker tools and viruses on the web. Here are some of the creators of MalwareBytes.org 's Rogue Remover ( RogueRemover ): Robert Cooper, Marcin Kleczynski, Jack Morrissey Their WHOIS information below shows that they have no connection to MalwareBytes.com, but they are just exploiting their name to re-direct web traffic to their website for a non-legal gain: Registrant Name:Robert Cooper Registrant Organization:NoIdea Registrant Street1:565 South Mason Rd #112 Registrant Street2: Registrant Street3: Registrant City:Katy Registrant State/Province:TX Registrant Postal Code:77450 Registrant Country:US Registrant Phone:+1.2815993824 Registrant Phone Ext.: Registrant FAX: Registrant FAX Ext.: Registrant Email:noc@noidea.us Name Server:NS.WATT.COM Name Server:NS.HOSTINGATESSEX.COM ******* They are even hosted on a SEXUAL CONTENT - ADULT CONTENT SERVER ****** See their name server above HostingGatesSEX.COM --- THEY PROBABLY REMOVE anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti-Virus, anti-Trojans PRODUCTS, so they can propagate their smutt on the web and adult content. WHOIS info link: http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=m...prog_id=godaddy Here are some of the other fake and rogue security tools they create can be found here: Malwarebytes .org, noidea .us, Spywarefix .org, SpywareWarrior .com Here are more rogue security forums that propagate this software as they are trying to get rid of some of their own competing products. They stooped to a low enough level as to promote a rogue and malicious illegal software like RogueRemover from MalwareBytes.org for their own monetary gain.: NoIdea .us, SpywareFix .org, MalwareBytes .org, SpywareInfo .com, Javacoolsoftware .com, SpywareWarrior .com, wilderssecurity .com and many others. RogueRemover also removes registry fixing programs and registry cleaners - This is also another way to sabotage your PC. Think about it, if you had a virus or trojan in your registry and tried to clean and fix your registry, now you will not be able to. Rogue Remover also removes key Microsoft windows registry keys to make s easier for a hacker to attack and gain access to your PC. Here are some of the Microsoft legitimate keys they remove: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_IPFILTERDRIVER HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\IpFilterDriver\Enum HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_IPFILTERDRIVER HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IpFilterDriver\Enum RogueRemover from MalwareBytes.org also removes many more registry keys by Microsoft Windows, but there are too many to post. The bottom line is - who made RogueRemover the internet police for us users to remove our legitimate pc protection programs form our machines as they see fit. if those programs were really bad, then the federal trace commission would have stopped them like they did with a program called spy ferret (probably written by those gangs above). I personally think that they are the makers of spy ferret and are coming back for revenge as to remove all other pc protection software out there. The RogueRemover and RogueRemover PRO programs can damage a user's pc and remove legitimate security programs and tools, and will not be liable, as the user agrees not to hold malwarebytes for their malicious actions responsible...."
