Well I did read on the Roxio site that EMC9 was compatible with Vista. To be honest I have had no problem installing and using EMC9 so far except for one small issue that occurs when finally burning a DVD (in my case, to an image). Maybe I've been lucky?
Anyway:
If MYDVD is rendering a couple of Videos and the UAC opens mid-way through rendering, mydvd suddenly skips the rest of the video and gets to work on the second!
UAC is the User Account Control which is built into Windows. It can either be turned on or off, in my case I have it on but unless it stops nagging me every time I want to move a file other basic stuff, I am going to be turning it off very soon as I am sure most people will.
Until this is corrected, my advice is not to do any activity that may remotely involve deleting copying moving files, installing other programs, etc etc until the render is finished.
