When I try to burn slide show, I get: "DVD builder has encuntered a problem and needs to close." I get that message as soon as I press "Burn" button, no first questions, nothing about media and such, just that bald statement. And I've sent months gathering info for the presetation. Any suggestions? Oh I upgraded yesterday but it didn't take that message away.

Have you ever been able to burn a project from DVDBuilder?

Has IE 7 or WMP 11 been installed? If so, they need to be uninstalled as they break EMC 7/7.5 and cause problems like this.

 

 

You are absoutely rght, and thank you for the info. IE7 will not support copying from Create Slideshow. I did not want to revert to IE6. Heaven knows what problems that would bring up! So I opted for the "9" version and all is now right with the world. Thank you again!

Actually you will have less problems with IE6 - IE7 has been causing a LOT of problems all over.

 

Most uf hs here just won't use it at all (I prefer Firefox myself and just keep IE6 for MS updates)

What are your system specifications - what kind of processor and how fast, how much memory, what kind of video card, what is the burner id string? (See Larry's signature for an idea of what kind of information)
