Beerman 35 Report post Posted February 1, 2007 "Microsoft said the exploit was "technically possible" but there was no need to worry." Sort of like when they tell you the water is ok to drink but boil it anyway.

webwiz 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2007 (edited) After installing 12 Applications, 8 don't work. I don't intend to find the problems or do any research. I've had it with SP2 and WMP11. I am going back to my Windows XP pro and reformat complitelly the Window machine that I installed Vista. I heard that if you install Vista on the machine its not the same like you would purchase the computer that came with Vista. Guest ml Report post Posted February 2, 2007 I heard that if you install Vista on the machine its not the same like you would purchase the computer that came with Vista. Hopefully, if you bought a machine with Vista preinstalled, the preinstalled programs would also work. Since most computers have speakers and built in microphones that are automatically turned on......... horror or horrors...... what if a website told the drive to reformat your drive or shut down the program you're working on while surfing the net? If you don't put on SP2 (which hasn't been causing a problem with Version 6 and above), you will not be able to download any updates to your WinXP Pro. WnXP SP1 is no longer supported. Listening to some of the ones who had Vista - it's all the fault of everybody except MS that apps won't work (not to mention hardware) and I have heard that the 64 bit version is even worse when it comes to getting stuff to run
