Sort of like when they tell you the water is ok to drink but boil it anyway. :):D:huh::D

After installing 12 Applications, 8 don't work. I don't intend to find the problems or do any research.

I've had it with SP2 and WMP11.

I am going back to my Windows XP pro and reformat complitelly the Window machine that I installed Vista.

I heard that if you install Vista on the machine its not the same like you would purchase the computer that came with Vista. :)

Hopefully, if you bought a machine with Vista preinstalled, the preinstalled programs would also work.

Since most computers have speakers and built in microphones that are automatically turned on......... horror or horrors...... what if a website told the drive to reformat your drive or shut down the program you're working on while surfing the net?

:)

Huh? Do you mean IE 7 and WMP 11? Or Vista?

If you don't put on SP2 (which hasn't been causing a problem with Version 6 and above), you will not be able to download any updates to your WinXP Pro. WnXP SP1 is no longer supported.

Listening to some of the ones who had Vista - it's all the fault of everybody except MS that apps won't work (not to mention hardware) and I have heard that the 64 bit version is even worse when it comes to getting stuff to run :)
