burning dvd from slideshow

I'm trying to burn a dvd from slideshow, but it won't allow it. Will not let me check box. downloaded roxio 9 and now i can't open my project in vidowave. it tells me it's encountered a problem. drag to disc won't come up in 7 or creator classic. just a multitude of problems. I've taken two days off from work to fix this and come with nothing. Please help.

I'm using emc 7, using digital pictures from trip, dragging them into slideshow. simple procedure, I'm not sure what settings you mean, sorry. No error message, it just won't allow the burn to disc box to be checked.

There are multiple programs that can be opened to create a "slideshow" with in EMC 7. You need to be more specific. What in EMC 7 are you opening to start with? How are you selecting your picture files? Step by step procedures please.

You are not giving us a lot to work with…

 

V7 projects will most likely not work in V9.

 

You refer to "Will not let me check box"??? Care to expand on that?

 

Have you allowed IE7 to get installed on your PC? – It will wreck V7 and more.

 

Do you have the Trial version of V9 or did you buy it?

 

What exactly is the source of this slideshow? Is this something you created in V7? What format is it in?

I want to get on the phone with them and get this figured out, but at 35 dollars a pop, I think I'll pass. Roxio is very good at selling and crappy at tech support. Everyone seems to have similar problems.

Its already been asked in post #2...do you have IE 7 installed?.

You'll need to uninstall it and roll back to IE 6 then. IE 7 breaks EMC 7.

I'm having the same problem. I have Creator 7 installed on my laptop and my desktop. Neither will allow me to burn a slideshow, something that has given me no problem in the past. I suspected something with Windows Media Player 11 so I rolled back to 9 on my laptop, but to no avail. Very frustrating.

Ok, same question. Do you have IE 7 installed? If so remove that too.

You'll need to uninstall it and roll back to IE 6 then. IE 7 breaks EMC 7.

Now how about some details on which specific application you are creating the slideshow with and the steps/settings that you are using.

 

Is there any error message when you click burn?

 

The more detail you can provide, the easier this will be.
