I have a Canon iP4000 printer that prints direct to disc by placing a printable disc on a special CD/DVD tray, which is inserted into the iP4000. This operation works fine with Canon's own CD Label software, but for convenience, I'd like to use Roxio Label Creator / Express Labeler.
The problem is the Roxio software doesn't seem to support the Canon printer. I make the correct settings in the iP4000 properties:
Main tab - media type: Printable Disc (recommended)
Page Setup tab - Paper size: CD-R Tray B
Back in Roxio Label Creator I select Media: Print to Disc. I understand the Paper Type option should be in consequential, however I think this is where the problem lies. The prints seem to be following the image of the CD in the Print Preview, which is a representation of CD/DVD on label paper. Now the oddity of Paper Type option is only Epson paper types are listed, which is surely insufficient even if the iP4000 printer is not supported by Roxio.
