Rebate confusion (Toast 7 download to Toast 8 boxed)

Hi folks!

 

I purchased Toast 7 (download edition) back in Sept 2005. Now I have purchased Toast 8 (boxed edition) and received the package in the mail. I have the rebate form as well, and I am supposed to mail "Proof of Previous Ownership - either a copy of the user's manual title page or a photocopy of the installation CD" in addition the UPC from Toast 8.

 

Unfortunately I ordered from a link in a Roxio email, and did not find the upgrade page before submitting.

 

What can I use as proof of Toast 7 ownership in order to claim my Toast 8 rebate?

Where did you purchase Toast 8 from? Roxio.com or from a retailer such as Amazon?

 

Usually the rebate terms also include an option to include the email confirmation when a download version was purchased directly from roxio. If you purchased Toast 7 by download version, you should have a confirmation email with the product key in it.
