I recently made the awful choice to upgrade from MYDVD 6 to MYDVD 9 thinking the upgrade would give me more features. My menu feature dropped from almost a hundred choices to three....(but if i spend another 30 bucks they'll sell me 5 more awful looking menus.....)
I thought maybe the DVD-iPod conversion tool would be a plus, so I gave it a try. I was transferring a standard screen form movie using the conversion screen in MYDVD 9 and chose the iPOD conversion option.
Results; the video looks fine in the i-tunes screen, but once transferred to the i-pod it is anamorphically compressed. I've tried every filter they offer in the conversion screen with the same results. The video is trimmed with black bars on the right and left of the screen and the standard movie is compressed in the middle of the screen.
Anyone else bump into this problem and figure out a solution?
Hey, Roxio/Sonic....How about a MYDVD9 forum or actually offering MYDVD 9 as an option within your phone support menu?
Nothing like launching new software and offering zero support.
