Hello there i have just purchased Roxio 9, and it is very good. I just have a quick query regarding the slide show I can produce quick slideshows using the wizard and save the production. Can you tell me is it possible to save a multiple of these slideshows and then burn them on to disc in the order i want as i am having problems with this. Please help Many Thanks in advance

Hello again, I have another query Do you know how to get random transition applied to all your sideshow instead of doing this individually, I know their is a list for other transition but have not seen one for Random is it possible for you to reply back with a screen shot as I am one of those people who like to understand with word and pictures, I am a bigger baby than your grandson LOL

In VideoWave storyline, right click on a transition space and select apply transition theme. Select random or pot luck. When you apply a theme, it will change all the transitions to that theme. You could always go back and change out the ones you don't like one by one or just reapply the theme to change all of them again.

The first thing you need to do is open Videowave 9, click Tools>Options... When the Application Settings screen appears, click the Graphics Test button. Videowave will run some tests to determine if your video card is capable enough. After the test is done, you will receive no messages but the radio button for either Hardware or Software will be checked. If Hardware, see Sknis' post for your answer. If the Software button is checked, the random or pot luck transition themes are not available and you will have to select another theme or add transitions individually.

Sorry for the late reply, what i meant was when i add mutiple slideshows file on i do not want them on the menu screen just when you insert the dvd disc in it autmaticall plays. Can you add a menu screen that does not show your file on the menu screen and also that plays just the menu screen then after a certain duration it automatically plays your shows ? Cheers

No, I don't think you can. You can add all 3 movies by selecting the first one, then hold the Ctrl key down and select the others. You will only get one menu title showing that way.

Thanks for that, i have another question!! Sorry! on my slideshow i have pics and movie clips, on the movie clips i have the origional sound, how do i overide this sound so i just put in music so u do not here the original sound?? Many thanks in advance.

I think you are asking how to mute the native audio on the video clips. To do that, point to the video clip you want to mute in Videowave. Just above the preview window, click the little speaker icon and the place a check mark in the mute box. That should do it.

Select one panel, right click and select trim (I did not coin the command name). You can change one or all of them there.

Produce each slide show in Videowave and save it as a separate file (*.dmsm file). Then open MyDVD and enter each of the separate productions as a separate chapter. After you have edited, reviewed and have all the productions added, then you can burn one DVD that includes each of them. Hope that makes sense.

 

You can't add separate productions end to end in the Videowave program.

Thankyou Frank for that, i am now at the position where i am in mydvd and have added the two

slideshow file and they are on the menu screen how do i arrange them in what order i want them to be and also if i do not want them shown on the menu screen . i am doing this as you are teeling me.

They will play in the order that you add them in MyDVD. What do you mean when you say you don't want them to show on a menu screen? Do you mean you want to just put the disc in your set top DVD player and have the movies start? If so, when you first open MyDVD, click on File/New Project, and select DVD - no menus.
