Free Registry Cleaner 1.0.3

Eusing Free Registry Cleaner is a free registry repair software that allows you to safely clean and repair registry problems with a few simple mouse clicks. The Windows Registry is a crucial part of your PC's operation system. Problems with the Windows Registry are a common cause of Windows crashes and error messages.Registry problems can occur for many reasons, including references left behind after uninstallation; incorrect removal of software; missing or corrupt hardware drivers; or orphaned start-up programs. This will significantly increase the Registry size and slow down your computer, because Windows will need more time to load, search, and read data from the Registry.

NOTE: If you dont know what a registry is?, or you dont know how to back yours up?, then move along....ALL CARE ON THIS AND NO RESONSABILITY

ALLWAYS BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY FIRST BEFORE PLAYING WITH IT?

RegSeeker is also free. I like it because you can search for a specific string like 'roxio'. :) I also use their HoverSnap for screenshots. Have been using both for sometime now. Edited by ggrussell

I think that I might give Regseeker a shot.

Regseeker has been something I've used for years as well. CCleaner is pretty good too. You should be careful what you use to work on the registry but that goes without saying.

Back it up first.

I have error soft registry cleaner. It found about 250 errors. After that I read this thread and I installed AML Free Registry Cleaner and this found additional 1,500 errors, includin some of the Photoshop files.

I am really skeptical about cleaning it. Did anyone have a bad luck with the AML?

thanks,

Whatever you do, backup your registry first. Many of these programs will do it for you but just to be sure, do one the manual way too.

I tried both AML and RegSeeker. I like RegSeeker especially the search tool.
