How to change length of time text visible

I inserted a blank panel before the start of a video. In this blank panel (4 seconds duration), I added text (title of video). But now when I play the video, the title lasts 10 seconds, going into the start of the video portion. How can I make the text stay visible only for 4 seconds, the duration of the blank panel that I had inserted?

Best to insert the Text on the INTERNAL text track. The text will stay with the panel if moved and will only last as long as the color panel.

 

When you insert text, you should get a dialog box. See below. Choose insert to internal track.
