mariajef
Hi After creating various audio cds which had the names of the tunes on the list in Toast 8, I notice that when I burn a cd, it simply assigns numbers and eliminates the name I had given to the file. How can I retain the file names after burning? Thanks! Maria Mattaliano

There you should see if the disc has the CD Text track names burned to the CD. The Mac OS does not read CD Text so you will end up with the generic track names when inserting the burned CD in your Mac. To change the generic names you need to edit the names where the generic names appear in iTunes. There is an Applescript called CD Text to CD Info that will automate this function. You can find it at www.dougscripts.com.
John at Roxio
I cant duplicate this problem. Can you give me a step-by-step way to duplicate this. If I can see what you are doing, maybe I can help figure out what you need to do differently.
