clean install

Question

Ok, Now Iv'e done a totally clean install of EC9. I have vista for an operating system. Now it tells me that my cd key code is incorrect. Iv'e entered it 10 times and still get the same message. I thought this app. was vista ready. Apparantly not. :huh::D:)

After I did my clean install I received the same error. Call customer service order department and they will give you the fix (they say this is fairly common on a complete reinstall). PS - did you get any help with your mpeg2 problem - I have the same problem after loading Vista.

I contacted tech support and they could not come up with an answer. They said they are working on it. Funny, there was a problem with itunes and Apple has already posted a fix. This tech dept. sounds like one guy and a bunch of chimps. The sad thing is that i put my money on the chimps. False advertising saying that EC9 is vista ready?

Bogie,

You have one problem, and we are aware of it. It is not necessary to post the details of this problem to multiple threads on this forum. Name calling is also counter-productive.

 

Your problem is not necessarily Vista related. The same issue has come up with several XP users. I have asked our Tech Lead for Creator to look into this issue with you, and hopefully we can walk you through the procedure to fix the problem. Please have patience, and work with us.
