My friend and I are working on a large project and would like to split up the workload. She has Creator 9 as well as I do. Is there a way for her to copy her projects onto my computer so that we can consolidate our slideshow projects into one DVD? Thanks for your help.

I think this is doable. You just need to create a mirror image of the path/folders that your friend used in his/her and all the files used in the project get saved to their respective folders.

Of course you can just burn onto CD (or DVD) the entire folder where all the files reside and copy them onto your PC. That should have all the path/folders.

In case you open Videowave or MyDVD and either one looks for missing files, just point it to the right path/folder.

By files/folders do you mean all of the photos, etc. and where they are saved need to be a mirror image so that I don't get the "unable to locate files" message? So then, do I burn it as I would for a finished project and then copy it on my computer or go into the file it was saved under, copy and then copy onto my computer?

Do you have all the files (photos/audio/video) just in one place. If so, you can just copy them into a folder and just direct Videowave/MyDVD, in case they look for those files, to the right folder on your PC. I am only thinking of mirror image if you have nested folders or several sibling folders.

If you are trying to put all the slideshows in one DVD, you have to bring all the projects onto your PC so you can burn a DVD comprising of the various slideshows (from your friend and yours).

As your friend to do a small/short project first, experiement on that first and see how it comes out.
