LucidAnn
Okay I found the manufacturer's website where I am updating the drivers. So hopefully this will work!!!
gi7omy
That's a good start - uninstall the old ones first (force windows back to that terrible 16 colour setting firest) Also update DirectX 9.0c to the latest from MS (Feb release)
wareagl487
Okay I found the manufacturer's website where I am updating the drivers. So hopefully this will work!!! If it doesn't work, review some of this thread where I had similar issues. Bottom line for me so far is I can only render the higher quality using the "Software" setting. Good Luck. Andy W. gi7omy
Let us know how you get on but also try this: defrag the hard drive (sometimes fragmented files cause problems) run spybot S&D and/or Adaware SE (both free) to remove any malware that may be running unseen close down any other programs that may be running (IMs, etc) and while it renders - go watch TV and do NOTHING else on the computer

gi7omy
Go to control panel, system and it will say at the front if you have SP2 insdtalled or not. If you did the MS update, then you are SP2
