I am running a HP Pavalion 1630n AMDDuocore 4600, 2gb ram on board graphics Nvidia 6150. I have been using Roxio since version 5, upgraded from 7.5 to 9. I was able to capture and edit the video (from Sony HC46 dv) but had a black screen when trying to burn dvd. I checked this forum, read about the rendering problems and updated the video drivers. That worked, but when I played the burned DVD back there where artifacts and blurry edges whenever I had panned my video camera. I tried several things, such as setting the performance of the nvidia to highest quality and application control for the other settings. This did not help. I went out last night and purchased a PCI-X PNY 7300GT video card and installed that. I updated the drivers but now I am back to the black screen again. I can not even put a menu on the MYDVD screen. When I hit the green play arrow nothing happens and trying to burn the dvd just brings up an arrow message. Obviously I am not too happy right now as my costs are escalating. What can I do to resolve this issue or should I just uninstall version 9 and go back to 7.5?
