Yorkei Jack
No telling when V10 will come out. We're still waiting for a 9.1 patch. I have Roxio EMC 9 Deluxe NOW WORKING! Formatted Drive C:\ Installed Windows Vista Home Premium, and updates from website. Disconnected internet. NO anti-virus installed at this point Installed Roxio EMC 9 Deluxe. Works fine! Then installed all my other programmes etc. Good luck! Yorkei Jack
Yorkei Jack
Ok,lets try and sort this out. V9.0.88 obviously is the V9.0 of the software. No one,not Roxio or Microsoft says it's certified for Vista. It may work,it may not. V9.1.068 seems to be the version that is available for download from Roxio. They say that it is Vista compatible V9.1.45 is suppossed to be the version that is Vista certified by Microsoft. So far I haven't seen anyone claiming to have that version. It has not been released by Roxio as of yet. I can't tell you when it will be.There is a ton of other posts about this.We are all in the same boat waiting for it,as well as a patch for 9.0 that will make it 9.1. Thanks for the info. Guess we will just have to wait the latest version, oR will V 10.0 be out sooner than we think? Keep Wishing! Yorkei Jack
Yorkei Jack
That's a driver error in Vista "80070002: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND Solution: Make sure the all files that are specified in the INF file are included on the driver package, and delete any INF file entries that specify nonexistent files." http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/insta...vpkgerrors.mspx You would need to check with Microsoft on that one ================================ I have the same problem. When I try to install EMC V9.0 I get an "Internal Error Code 03E9.80070002" and the PC locks up. I think my version of EMC is 6.1.6.0 and I can not find a fix from Windows Vista. So guess we will have to wait for Version 10 to come out? Any other suggestions please?

tbrewst
V9 is not the same as 6.1.6.0.If you have V9 it should be either 9.0.88 or 9.1.68.
gi7omy
If is is 6.1 showing, that's ECD6 and is NOT Vista compatible - the earliest that will work is, as has been said, EMC9
