MyDVD Setting Defaults?

I am having trouble setting the 'button' and 'arrangement clip' defaults for MyDVD. When I had Mydvd 6.0 the bttons and the arranging of the videos on the menu had a defulat style that was preset (and very convenient). I have tried to use one of the menu styles - and continue to have trouble arranging multiple movie clips and titles - (when I import the movie clip they go wherever, when I use the align feature, all of the movies align on top of one another). Previously, with 6.0, they automatically arrange by name... now they don't. It seems I have to maually arrange all clips and then manually select all fonts, colors, etc for text... Any help????

Sounds like you aren't using the 'align' feature correctly. It doesn't NOT align anything to the 'background'. It strictly aligns objects to one another. For example:

You first select button 1, hold the control key and select button 2. When you click ALIGN LEFT, button 1 will be moved to align on button 2. There is NO option to align the buttons in order on the background. This has already been requested.

 

MyDVD 9 does use predesigned styles. When you import more than one video, the buttons should be aligned according the style chosen. Looking through the styles, most of them appear to be aligned vertically with a few horizontal or diagonal.
