gpascazio
I have had Easy CD DVD Creator 6 on my XP machine for about three years. I am having a problem when I playback the CD on my Stereo sytem. The first couple of tracks are good quality then the quality of the recording deteriorates where by the end of the CD it will no longer play. I have tried different brands of CD-R but no improvements. I have checked both the recorder drive and the play drive (Sony) for updated drivers but none are available. The model No(s) are: Sony CD-ROM CDU 5221 DVD RW DRU-720A I have checked the Roxio website for software updates but the software is up to date. Can anybody help me with this problem? gi7omy
If this has only recently started to happen (I presume that previous recordings were fine) it's possible that your CD drive is nearing the end of its usefulness. You could experiment tho - try a lens cleaning disc (but usually that is only effective if all tracks are equally 'bad') or try burning at a lower speed If those fail, you may have to consider a replacement drive
