I've only done this ONCE. Maybe it will work for you.

Insert the VCD into your drive

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the MPEGAV folder on the disc

If I remember correctly, the file should be something like AVSEG01.dat

Copy that to your hard drive and rename the extension to .MPG

These are MPEG 1 files.

 

You can then load these files into Videowave 9 and then OUTPUT TO FILE as MP4 or whatever format you like.

I don't have any recent VCD's but my older ones named the file MUSIC01.DAT… In any case, it will be the DAT file in the MPEGAV folder.
