Can Toast 8 add an effect to an entire playlist?

I have Toast 6, and am considering upgrading to Toast 8.

 

I'm curious how fluid the process of adding AU effects to tracks are. I often apply a multiband compressor to an entire set of tracks in Waveburner. Can Toast 8 do the same, or can effects only be applied to individual tracks?

 

Relatedly, are there preset settings for effects? Ideally, I wouldn't want to have to reconfigure a compressor plugin from scratch each time I inserted it.

The answer would be no and no.

 

Toast will only allow you to add an effect to each track (3 per track). No way to add to multiple tracks at once.

 

There are presets, but custom presets are not supported.
