DRM and cell phones

Seems the music industry is looking easier ways to get us to download music to cell phones (just so they can make more money).

Apple is pushing for 'interoperability'

"Speaking at the 3GSM World Congress mobile phone conference in Barcelona, Edgar Bronfman Jr also admitted that the mobile and music industries risk losing out on billions of dollars in profits because it is currently so difficult to download a track to a phone."

We have ways of making you part with your money :)

Call me old fashioned but it seems that we have gone full circle.

In the good old days we listened to music on our trusty transistor radios and we thought we were hip.

We grew up and discovered the quality of amplifiers and crystal clear sounds.

Now I see the "must haves" walking down our street with their mobile phones playing the latest tunes with the quality of a transistor radio and they think it's "cool".

I can't help having a good laugh as they actually pay good money for the "privilege".

And who wants to watch a film on a 1 inch square screen and pay for it when they have 42 inch HD screens in their lounges.

The worlds gone mad................................

Good authors too

Who once knew better words

Now only use four letter words

Writing prose

Anything Goes

...

And those blues you've got

From those news you've got

And those pains you've got

(If any brains you've got)

From those little radios.

In olden days a glimpse of stocking

Was looked on as something shocking

But now Heaven knows

Anything Goes.
