Sonic Recordnow Premier 8

Question

:)

I have tried twice to burn a jukebox CD (for the car) consisting of existing mp3 files on my hard disk. After I add the files to the 'window', I put them in the correct order to burn the CD.

Each and every time, the software re-arranges them in some nonsensical order, totally different from the way I saved it.

is there some difference from a 'project' vs. a 'playlist'?

is it the fact that it is a 'jukebox' cd and not a regular audio cd?

i will try the same on my macbookpro and see what happens.

I paid $ 53 bucks for this upgrade from the base Sonic program that came with my Toshiba Qosmio F15-AV201 computer. Can one get a refund?

Thanks.

It is because it is a Jukebox disc, yes.

Jukebox discs burn files in alpha-numerical order. But if you play this disc in Windows Media Player or "smart" multimedia players it will read the playlist on the disc and put it in the order you placed it in. It's function of the player I'm afraid. I suggest you categorize by folder or rename your files in alpha-numerical order.
