Hi, I use Toast 8 for encoding .avi movies to dvd formats. When I start the process Toast says it needs the same amount of hard drive space as the eventual movie will take up on the dvd, usually 4.3 gigs. But after toast is done encoding and burning the dvd I don't get back that 4.3 gigs it wanted. Maybe I'll get back 300 megs but it's no where near the space I had free before it started encoding.
So I'm wondering if there is a cache or group of temp files Toast creates that I haven't found yet that are taking up all the space? Any ideas where to look?
