Not sure if this is the proper place for this post, but it seemed as close as I could get.
Has anyone tried this to fix Digital Media Plus 7.2 using the following procedure? It took quite a while, hit and miss, but I eventuallty stumbled on the following:
1. Uninstall all Roxio products that come with the Roxio Application CDs.
2. Reinstall the programs less the "Roxio Update Manager", by installing from CD, choosing "custom install", and then unchecking "Roxio Update Manager".
There have been only 2 cases where this did not work (out of approx 50), and in both cases the installer gives the message that "the environment does not support any of the supplied programs on the diskette". One of these cases was solved by uninstalling Roxio, then uninstalling both CD drives on the PC involved, then reinstalling Roxio from a neewly attached temporary DVD RW drive. The other could not be solved and CD DCreator 5 had to be installed instead of DigitalMedia.
The original problem appears to have occurred after microsoft sytem updtes were applied. There apparently is aconflict between Micrrosoft's and Roxio's update managers.
Again, anyone else notice this problem and solution?
