I found my Creator 6 can't work and it shows " the activation server reports that the distribution of the CD key has been disabled." When I called to Customer Center for helping. They told me they already disabled the CD key for Creator 6. They want me upgrade to creator 9. They didn't give me any support for solved my Creator 6 problem but asking for upgrading. It really didn't make sense to me. How come me CD Key was disabled even it was a old version. Does any one can help me?

Rita Chien
How long ago was that Rita? Just curious I bought it in 2003. It seems I got to give up this program. I will never buy Roxio's products again.
lynn98109
When you download a program, it's a good idea to make a backup disc. When a company puts out the subsequent Version of whatever, they use the SAME servers to make that downloadable. Any other program you downloaded, no matter which company you downloaded it from, would have the same situation. It's not different from going into a store and trying to buy a copy of a program several Versions older than the current Version. Lynn
Brendon
Since when does version 6 require activation? I reinstalled my version 6 the other day and it worked and accepted the same key I've always had for it. Since I've installed 6 without Internet access, I can't see how a CD key can be "cancelled". Has anyone else had this problem?

John at Roxio
Unfortunately that software is no longer supported and we dont have a way to have you download it again. If you would like I can arrange for you to get upgrade pricing to a newer product.
