This is in response to the 'closing' of the issue listed in the topic title above ( without the '2' added by me).
John at Roxio,
This is a problem with your software that you are either unable or unwilling to address. I have re-formatted my hard drive, reinstalled windows xp, and still can not install the update or a newly purchased package to my new computer. It may well be my new computer, which is a Dell XPS 700 with Duo core x6800 processor and 4Gb ram. But nowhere is that configuration listed as a problem.
I have received zero support from your 'self service' option -- since 12/26/06 -- , or your dedicated emc9 call in number and therefore have concluded that Roxio does not care to address this issue. Many people have this issue, after all. the previous thread, which you locked, had over 1600 views. This should tell you something.
Fix the problem, or you will be the next Lotus 1-2-3 .
