rbratcherjr
The program doesn't detect my Sony DVD recorder drive anymore. I've uninstalled both the DVD driver & the ATAPI controller then rebooted. The drive has the original firmware & worked 2 weeks ago when I burned some DVD's. In other words there is no default recorder listed in Roxio. I have "enable recording on this drive" turned off in Windows. How can I fix this? You could try enabling the "enable recording on this drive" setting, apply, close it, re-open it it, disable it, apply, close it. If that doesn't help, it is probably something that has been added or updated that has caused the problem. Have you added or updated any software that is capable of burning? Programs like Windows Media Player, Nero, iTunes, etc?
