I have enter the CDkey on the disk envelope many different ways, but it is not acceptable. Isn't this part of EMC8? What or where is the correct code? patatrox
After nearly two frustrating months of trying to install ECM 8 Suite (D/L version), and fter receiving the same error message as you did, in desperation, I downloaded and ran Roxizap.exe -- an 'old' utility program by Roxio to remove remants of old versions of Roxio applications. After running Roxizap.exe, I was able to install ECM 8 Suite with no problem. Read the instractions of running Roxizap.exe VERY CAREFULLY. Use with caution. I have reasons I haven't updated RoxiZap for v6 and higher... mostly because of Creator 6 and higher being protected by the Windows installer.... sadunsi
Has anybody come up with a solution to the Cineplay activation problem? Thanks, Scott
JC
This was a common problem in version 7.5. I believe the customer support has a solution (cineplayer). I don't remember if it was ever posted on the boards. I'm not sure if they are related? I just remembered something, You did not have a prior version of that program installed (cineplayer)? There was a issue a while back for the cineplayer, but that was in the old forms. As you know those old foms no longer exists. Good grief!!!!!!!! You don't even have the software that is being talked about here! You have a Sonic version of MyDVD 6 LE, which you mentioned in a different thread, which is in its proper place in the Sonic forums, now. You dug up a thread that was dead over a year ago! sadunsi
I went into REGEDIT and applied "full control" to permissions for SONIC (just as I had to do for ROXIO permission to get EMC 8 to work) and voila! That sure was a lot of pain to get EMC 8/Cineplayer to work. Shame on you Roxio.
