Cannot Burn DVD's

vancity

Question

I have reinstalled Record Now (7.3) on my computer as well as MyDVD and can't burn a DVD. It will check the length of the file then eject the disk as it begins the burning process. Why is it doing this?

Sense: 05 ASC: 30 ASCQ: 05 (Command 2A)

-------------------------------------------------------

px.dll: 2.8.65.500

pxdrv.dll: 1.1.79.0

pxmas.dll: 2.8.65.500

pxsfs.dll: 2.8.65.500

pxwave.dll: 2.8.65.500

PXWMA.dll: 1.0.0.3

This is the error that it is giving me. Can anybody please help me?

Thanks,

Hi there, thank you very much for your reply, sadly I don't think that's my problem. I was never told that I couldn't transfer data fast enough, just that there was a recording error. Record Now took me to their help page but it just says to get rid of dirts and finger prints and such. Maybe I should buy a new DVD-R to see what happens? Anyway that is the update.

Thank you,
