I've successfully formatted media in Disc and Device Utility. I can view the properties of that formatted media in Disc and Device Utility without a problem. Both the disc properties and session properties in Disc and Device Utility are all green check marks or info only, except "Can read barcode" has a red X. (And I hope that is not the issue.) However, when I try to save a jpg to that newly formatted media, I receive "F:\is not accessible" "Incorrect function".
There is a message on the canvas behind the error dialog box that instructs me to "click the Filter for Media Types button" and determine if the media type on that disc was included. The "All Media Files" option was already selected.
I am running Windows 2000 SP4 on a Dell Dimension 4400.
Pentium 4 1.7 Ghz processor, 256 MB of RAM.
The CDRW is a Lite-On 24102M that was installed by Dell with the system was bought. I've removed the device through the Add/Remove Hardware wizard, no help. Drivers are current.

Can someone please tell me what I am missing?
All help is appreciated.
