Panasonic and 1080i 50hz

pixel

Question

Just for the Info... If you make a Blu-ray disc with DVDIT Pro HD using 1080i 50 and you want to play them using a Panasonic DMP-BD10 over component it will not work... you will have no full 1080i output just 576i output..:-( But what is the reason... ?

The other question is, why does Blu-ray not accept native .m2t (its MPEG2-HD ?!?) HDV files and HD-DVD does it?

Have all the HD player makers forgott that there are 50hz regions?

Is the full resolution present on the HDMI? That is the connection I am using on my DMP-BD10, I am in a 50Hz region and I get the 1080i resolution from the disks I have burnt.
