Question

I was wondering if anyone knows if Easy Media Creator has the capability to edit a photo to black and white and leave a single object in color? I know other programs such as photoshop have this ability, and I really want to make some neat pics but I dont want to pay for photoshop when I already have roxio.

See if this post helps. It was written for Photosuite in EMC8, but I think it works the same in Photosuite EMC9.

Hope that helps.

Great tip there, Merv. That is a keeper!

Thanks, Jess. You can do some neat stuff with it but, as I said in the post, it can be tedious tracing around a complex item in a picture. I just finished a football highlights video for my nephew's annual banquet. I took a picture of all the seniors, made separate copies of the picture with each copy having a different senior in color with the rest b/w and somewhat darkened. I zoomed in on each color senior and followed that up with several video clips of him in action. Worked out great and the kids loved being acknowledged that way in front of their families and fellow teammates.

Wow, that's a lot of work in that project but I'm sure it came out nice and everyone appreciates the creativity shown in the finished product.
