Video Export Bug?

Waltjw

Question

I like the way I can export .iMovieProject or .dv files via Toast 8's DVD-Video Export function into HIGH QUALITY .m4v files for iTunes, using Toast 8's "for iPod (Best)" setting, with "Open iTunes when done" checked.

You get a really good quality file, good enough to go full screen through my A/V system.

However, Toast insists on putting this file into iTune's TV Shows folder instead of its Movies folder where it belongs. If I don't check "Open iTunes when done" and drag the file to iTunes, I get the same result.

Am I doing anything wrong here, or is this a bug? If the latter, is there a work-around or an update coming?

I did not have this problem with Toast 7, but the quality of the Toast 7-generated file wasn't quite as good.
