We'd need a lot more detail:

What program were you using in the suite

What were you trying to do?

What you actually did?

What are your system specs (similar to my signature)?

What version of EMC?

I have exactly the same problem with EMC 9 Suite. When I try to save a file from MS word, Excel or an Email to my Sony CDRW, the data appears to be on the CD until I open the drawer. After I close the drawer, the data is gone and the CD is reported "empty". I have tried a variety of settings with the same result. I do not have a problem copying music from the CDROM to the CDRW. I feel that I am probably not setting something up properly but cannot identify what I am doing wrong. (worahm)

Dell 4100, WinsXP Home Edition SP2

930Mhz--512Mb RAM

Sony CDRW CRX140E

EMC 9 Suite

Woreham - it's never a good idea to post to a thread with a 'me too' - the OP here hasn't come back to answer any points that were raised (all he said was the equivalent of 'my car won't start')

None of us even know just what he was doing

In your case I'm still not sure - just what are you using to do the transfer?

If it's Drag to Disc, you should be warned that this is totally unreliable and a good way to lose your data (especially if you store it on a rewritable disc). This applies to ALL packet writing s/w and not just D2D
