Can't burn to dvd-rw all of a sudden

All of a sudden, I can't burn to my Maxell DVD-RW disks. Every time I put a new one in, it starts to download to the disk but then this error comes up:

 

drive reported an error:

Sense Key=Blank Disk

Sense Code=0x00

No Additional Sense information

 

 

I've tried quick erasing them, that seems to work, but it still won't burn.

 

I haven't tried a regular dvd-r disk as I hate wasting them.

Try to do the full (slow) erase. If that doesnt help, you probably just have a bad disc on your hands.
