sknis
[my firmware type is sqk6 Look at the front of the "burner" does it say DVD ROM or does it say something like DVD Multi? Look at the information given you when you bought the computer. It should tell you if it will burn plus R DVD, dash R DVDs or both. What type of DVD blank did you put into the burner? Manufacturer? You can learn a lot about your computer by downloading and running a free program called Belarc Advisor. Download it here.
