Bouncing photo?

Cookies

Question

I'm trying to make a very lively slideshow in which I'd like for some of the photos, in turn, to jump up and down. I figure I'll tackle this job by going to the motion picture editor and telling each photo where I want it to start and end, and start and end, etc.

But (my recurring question) does anybody know an easier way to do this?

Since you have up to 5 overlay tracks, you could get up to 5 images bouncing around and then flying out or just staying in position. Add a color panel and then add an image to each of the 5 overlay tracks (external; this doesn't work in internal). Keep the full length for now and each will be added to another overlay track. Adjust where you want the image to rest and the size and then apply a motion to each- There are several options for those that drop and bounce.

If you have a long enough color panels and you shorten each of the overlays, you should be able to add a second overlay to each of the tracks. I have not tried this second overlay but I don't see why it would not work.

I did try the first 5 and it does give some interesting effects. If you move the overlay images too far to the right or left, they do go off screen and then slowly return to the position so keep them more centered and smaller size.

I'm not sure if this is easier than what you were going to do or not. When you finish with your slide show, I would really like to see it. :)
