I have downloaded all the newest thing(i re-installed the nvidia driver you posted a link for). I have all the newest derectx 9 componets, and it still stays at zero percent.

Did you get a message when opening MyDVD or VW that it was re-evaluating your video card?

Did you follow the install instructions for the driver you downloaded?

Uninstall the current drivers,

Reboot so default XP VGA drivers get installed.

Install new drivers.

Reboot.

That still doesn't tell us what driver you are running for that video card. The most current drivers can be found here on Nvidia's site. You'll need to follow the installation instructions properly of uninstalling the current driver, reboot (so the ugly 16 bit Windows drivers are all that's left), then install the new driver.

While the PC may be newer, that card is actually a rather old one and I don't think it fully supports DirectX9.

You should also go to Microsofts site and install the latest updates for DirectX 9.

Open MyDVD and go to Tools. Options - in there you will find a Graphics Test.

If it's set to hardware, try it on software and see if that improves the performance or vice versa

With the older card tho you may find software rendering will work better (but you will lose some of the transitions in editing)

Try burning to an image file and see if that works. If it does, you can then burn the image file to dvd with Disc Copier.

First tell us what software you have. You posted in Easy Media Creator 9 forum. Do you have that or an earlier version? Do you have soemthing that came with your computer? What kind of computer do you have. Please post the specs.

With the informatrion you provided, it could be any number of things. In MYDVD, select burn and then select burn to iso file. Name it and put the location where you want it. Uncheck the other options. If it does encode, the problem is probably with your burner or computer. If it doesn't encode, there is something in your project that the program doesn't like.

Is there anythng that might be DRM protected? What kind of files do you have in the project?

Paul, additional questions since there is very little to go on.
