Thinking of upgrading machine

bds1958

Question

I am thinking of upgrading my machine and would hand down the current model to the kids.

Question is can I leave EMC9 on it for them to use and install on my new machine as well?

Also the machine I am thinking of will have the cut down OEM version of EMC9 loaded so will it be easy enough to uninstall it and install the "grown up" version I own without many problems. (Don't worry it won't be a Dell).

Sorry Brian - the EULA sattes that it is one installation on one machine so I'm afraid you can't install on two.

Also, check that the OEM copy will actually work on the hardware (some OEM versions just won't accept different hardware)

So if my current machine were to catch fire tonight I may as well fuel the fire with my current purchased hard copy of EMC9....................yes?
