Localboy
I notice that the Toast Video Player is the same as EyeTV's, both made by Elgato. Unfortunately, EyeTV doesn't seem to be able to open Tivo files. Is there a way to be able to play and edit Tivo files using EyeTV? Thanks for any help. tsantee
Not that I know of. Here's another way to go: Choose Save as Disc Image with Toast. When that is complete mount the image file. Get MPEG Streamclip and Apple's QuickTime MPEG2 Playback Component. Streamclip can open the VOB title sets that are in your mounted disc image. It has the ability to make multiple cuts to the video and to "Convert to MPEG" the edited video as a single file. Drag that edited MPEG to Toast for creating your final DVD.
