vanvan
Hello First of all, sorry for my english ! I'm trying to make a dvd from this QT sequence (8 Go) : DV-Pal, 720 X 576, 25 fps, audio 16 bit, mono, 48 hz It fails while encoding (everytime at the same moment... about 15 %) Even if I just try to make a "disk image" Saying : "Problem with the originals files. Error : type 18771" What does it mean ? It's not a problem of space (I have 20 Go free), isn't it ? Thanks Powerbook 1.67 GHz / Mac OS X 10.4.
tsantee
Your video is not MPEG so you have a different problem. I have not heard of this error with a QuickTime file. Try exporting the FCP project again. Go to Apple's FCP discussion group and to kenstone.com to find if other FCP users have had this error. vanvan
I'll try to export again. Thanks
vanvan
Brand new ! See below... I found this on the Toast 6 forum : "The 18771 error means there is a defect in the MPEG video. It likely is dropped frames." Any confirmation ? It means that I should do my export FCP to QT again ? But how will I get rid of this dropped frame ? How can I find it ? Maybe just try to do an export again, without changing anything - just to see if something better happens ?
